Abstract

Representative body of the people in the area, the council has a very big role in coloring the running of the government of the autonomous region. Aspects of responsibility, accountability in the execution of the task to be one of the deciding factors in meaning and benefit to the running of the government in the region to build a prosperous society and Sovereign. This understanding and provides the view that the legislature needs to continue to develop themselves, which certainly can not be detached from the dynamics of the political infrastructure quality, relations with other institutions within the frame of national governance values. The study used a qualitative descriptive research with qualitative data analysis. From this study in terms of accountability unknown function execution has not gone less well. District Council members are always responsive to feedback, suggestions, and always conduct a hearing with the community.
